Author Guidelines
AXION Health Multidisciplinary Journal (AHMJ) is a journal prioritizes submissions in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, midwifery, public health, nutrition, mental health, health education, and clinical pharmacy. Submissions from related and emerging fields such as health informatics, artificial intelligence, health economics, health policy, and food sciences are also welcomed, provided the work aligns with the journal’s multidisciplinary focus.
Manuscript Preparation
- General Format
- Manuscripts must be written in English using the Avenir Next LT Pro font, size 12 pt, with 1.15 line spacing on A4 paper (210 × 297 mm).
- Margins: 2 cm on all sides.
- Format: One-column layout.
- Length: 4,000–6,000 words (excluding title, abstract, acknowledgments, tables, and references).
- Article Title: Must reflect the core topic, be concise and specific, and be no more than 20 words.
Manuscript Structure
- Title and Author Information
- Title: Avenir Next LT Pro, 14 pt, bold, maximum 20 words.
- Include the author(s)' name(s), affiliation(s), and country.
- Identify the corresponding author with name, affiliation, and email address.
- Abstract
- Written in English (100–200 words), Avenir Next LT Pro, 9 pt, italic, single-spaced.
- Must be concise, informative, and self-explanatory, describing:
- Research background or objectives
- Methods
- Main findings
- Theoretical or practical implications
- Do not include citations or abbreviations.
- Keywords: 3–5 words (Avenir Next LT Pro, 9 pt).
- Introduction
- Provides a clear background of the study, objectives, benefits, and theoretical foundation.
- Must include:
a) The latest developments in the field;
b) Identification of research gaps;
c) Rationale for addressing these gaps;
d) Clear statement of research objectives. - Maximum 20% of the total manuscript length.
- Methods
Describe in detail the following:
- Participant Characteristics and Research Design: Inclusion/exclusion criteria, demographics, and study type.
- Sampling Procedures: Method, setting, ethical approval, and data collection.
- Sample Size and Precision: Target size, justification, and power analysis.
- Measures and Instruments: Tools used for data collection, validity, and references.
- Data Analysis: Statistical or analytical methods used.
- Results and Discussion
- Present data systematically: descriptive statistics, assumption testing, and hypothesis testing.
- Include tables and figures that are easy to interpret (avoid raw data).
- Discuss findings critically, compare with previous research, and highlight novel contributions to health sciences.
- Table Format:
- Avenir Next LT Pro, 10 pt.
- The title above the table is bold and numbered (e.g., Table 1).
- Figure Format:
- Caption below the figure, bold, 10 pt.
- Clearly explain all symbols and abbreviations.
- Limitation of the Study
Clearly explain methodological, contextual, or practical limitations that may affect generalizability.
- Conclusions and Suggestions
- Provide concise conclusions addressing research objectives.
- Highlight new contributions to the field.
- Offer brief and focused suggestions for further research or application.
- Written in paragraph form (not numbered).
- Acknowledgment
Mention individuals or institutions that provided support, ensuring consent for acknowledgment.
- Ethical Considerations
Include statements about ethical approval, informed consent, and compliance with research ethics.
- Funding Statement
Examples:
- This research received partial funding from [...]
- No external funding was received for this study.
- Conflict of Interest Statement
Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships influencing the work.
If none, state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
- References
- Must follow APA 6th or 7th Edition.
- Avenir Next LT Pro, 12 pt, 1.0 spacing.
- Hanging indent: 7 characters.
- Arranged alphabetically.
- Source requirements:
- At least 75% from primary sources (journal articles or conference proceedings).
- A maximum of 25% from secondary sources (books, reports, websites).
- At least 75% published within the last 5 years.
- Minimum 5 references from Scopus-indexed journals.
