Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the OJS system: https://journal.orbioninstitute.com

  • Articles must be written in English in accordance with academic writing standards.

  • The writing format must follow the official RATIOVA template, which can be downloaded at: [Template URL].

  • Manuscripts that do not comply with the template will not be processed further.


General Writing Requirements

  • Length: 10–20 pages (including figures and tables)

  • Paper size: A4

  • Margins: 3 cm (top, bottom, left, right)

  • Font: Avenir Next LT Pro

  • Font Size & Style:

    • Article Title: 13 pt, bold, maximum 16 words, English only

    • Sub-section Headings: 12 pt, bold

    • Main Text: 12 pt, 1.15 spacing, justified

  • All articles must be written in English.

Article Structure

  1. Title

    • The title should reflect the issue being studied and be engaging yet concise (maximum 17 words).

    • Font: Avenir Next LT Pro, 14 pt, bold.

  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s)

    • Full name(s) of the author(s) (maximum 5 authors).

    • Institutional affiliation(s) and country.

    • Correspondence information (name, institution, email).

  3. Article Information

    • Submission date, acceptance date, and publication date.

  4. Abstract

    • Written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, 150–250 words each.

    • Presented in a single paragraph containing:

      • Purpose of the study

      • Method

      • Findings/Results

      • Implications

      • Novelty/Original Contribution

    • Font: Avenir Next LT Pro, 10 pt, single spacing.

  5. Keywords

    • 3–5 keywords, separated by semicolons.

  6. Introduction

    • Background of the study.

    • Problem statement and research gap.

    • Research objectives and significance.

    • Novelty and justification of the study.

    • Supported by relevant theories and prior studies.

  7. Literature Review

    • Theoretical foundation of the study.

    • Review of previous related studies.

    • Identification of research gap.

  8. Hypothesis Development (if applicable)

    • Formulation of hypotheses based on literature and theory.

    • Presentation of conceptual framework (may include a figure/model).

  9. Methodology

    • Research design and justification.

    • Population, sample, or informants.

    • Data collection techniques.

    • Analytical methods.

    • For Systematic Literature Review (SLR), describe inclusion/exclusion criteria and PRISMA diagram.

  10. Results / Data Analysis

    • Presentation of research findings in line with methodology.

    • Use of tables, figures, or graphs where necessary (without vertical lines in tables).

    • Clear interpretation, not just restating data.

    • For qualitative research, thematic presentation.

    • For SLR, synthesis of selected literature.

  11. Discussion

    • Interpretation and critical analysis of findings.

    • Links findings to research questions, objectives, and theories.

    • Comparison with prior research.

    • Theoretical and practical implications.

    • Acknowledgment of study limitations.

  12. Conclusion

    • Concise summary of key findings.

    • Explicit connection to research objectives/questions.

    • Theoretical and practical contributions.

    • Study limitations and recommendations for future research.

    • Written in narrative form (not bullet points).

  13. References (APA 7th Edition)

  • Must include at least 75% from primary sources (journal articles, conference proceedings).

  • Minimum 75% published in the last 5 years.

  • At least 5 references must be from Scopus-indexed journals.

  • Font: Avenir Next LT Pro, 12 pt, spacing before 6 pt, after 6 pt, line spacing 1.0.
