Plagiarism Policy
RATIOVA: Journal of Economic and Accounting Perspectives upholds a strong commitment to academic integrity and the originality of every manuscript it publishes. The Editorial Team affirms that any form of plagiarism, whether intentional or unintentional, is unacceptable. Therefore, the following policy has been established to prevent and address plagiarism in all manuscripts submitted to the journal.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of using another person’s work—whether in the form of text, ideas, data, or findings, in whole or in part—and claiming it as one’s own without providing appropriate acknowledgment or citation of the original source.
General Provisions

Manuscripts submitted to RATIOVA: Journal of Economic and Accounting Perspectives must be original, have not been previously published, and are not under review in any other journal.

All quotations, whether direct or indirect, from other sources must be properly cited in accordance with academic standards.

All authors listed on the manuscript bear full responsibility for the authenticity and integrity of the content.
Plagiarism Detection
Starting February 2024, all submitted manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software such as Grammarly and Turnitin to ensure the level of originality and maintain academic quality.
Categories of Violations and Actions Taken
Minor Plagiarism
Copying phrases or short sentences without proper citation.

Action: The author will be given a warning and asked to revise the manuscript by providing correct citations or references.
Major Plagiarism
Copying substantial portions of another work without proper quotation or attribution.

Action: The manuscript will be immediately rejected, and the author(s) may be sanctioned with a ban on future submissions to RATIOVA: Journal of Economic and Accounting Perspectives
Collective Responsibility of Authors
All authors listed in the manuscript are considered collectively responsible for its content. If plagiarism is detected, sanctions will apply to all authors.
Duplicate Submission
If it is proven that the author(s) submitted the same or substantially similar manuscript simultaneously to MANACCO and another journal, it will be treated as a serious violation.

Action: The same sanctions as those applied to major plagiarism will be enforced.
Other Violations Beyond These Categories
If other forms of ethical misconduct are identified that are not specifically listed in this policy, the Editorial Board reserves the right to determine appropriate sanctions based on the journal’s internal policies.
