Manuscript Submission to MOBIS Journal: Journal of Management, Organization, and Business Innovation Studies

All manuscripts must be submitted via the official website: https://journal.orbioninstitute.com. Manuscripts may be written in English (using proper academic English). Submissions must strictly follow the MOBIS Journal template and comply with the required structure, which should include at minimum: Introduction, Research Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if any), and References.

Writing Instructions

  1. Document Format
  • Title: 14 pt, bold
  • Subtitles: 12 pt, bold
  • Main text: 12 pt, single spacing (1.0), justified alignment
  • Paper size: A4 (210 mm × 297 mm)
  • Length: Minimum 10 pages, maximum 17 pages (including tables and figures)
  • Margin: 3 cm (top, bottom, left, right)
  • Font: Calibri, 12 pt
  1. Tables and Figures
  • Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Table 2, Figure 1, Figure 2).
  • Table titles must be placed above the table, centered, 10 pt.
  • Figure titles must be placed below the figure, centered, 10 pt.
  • Tables must not contain vertical lines.
  • Table content: Calibri, 12 pt.
  1. References
  • Only sources cited in the manuscript should be included in the reference list.
  • At least 80% of references must be from scientific journal articles published within the last 5 years.
  • References from books must not exceed 20% and must also be from the last 5 years.
  • Citation style: APA 6th edition style
  • Reference management software: Mendeley is required.

 

 

Article Structure

  1. Title
    • Maximum 16 words in English.
    • Clear, concise, written in uppercase and bold (Calibri, 14 pt).
  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
    • Names are written without academic titles.
    • If more than one author, names are separated by commas.
    • Superscript numbering (¹, ², etc.) must be used to indicate affiliations.
    • Format example:
      • Author1, Author2 (maximum 5 authors)
      • ¹Faculty, Department, Institution, City, Indonesia
      • ²Faculty, Department, Institution, City, Indonesia
      • emailauthor1@institution.ac.id, emailauthor2@institution.ac.id
    • If the article is based on a thesis/dissertation, the student must be listed as the first author, followed by the supervisor(s).

  3. Abstract
    • Written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
    • Length: 150–250 words in a single paragraph.
    • Abstract title: Calibri, 10 pt.
    • Abstract text: Calibri, 12 pt, single spacing.
  4. Keywords
    • 3–5 keywords, separated by a semicolon (;).
    • Written in lowercase, except for abbreviations.
  5. Introduction
    • Presents background (empirical gap, phenomenon gap, etc.), theoretical foundation, novelty, research objectives, and research questions.
  6. Hypotheses
    • Theory development and hypothesis formulation.
  7. Methodology
    • Describes research stages, methods used, and systems or analytical approaches applied.
  8. Results
    • Presents research findings supported by data.
  9. Discussion
    • Provides analysis of results, supported by previous studies and relevant theories.
  10. Conclusion
    • Summarizes the main findings without repeating the background or theory.
    • May include recommendations for future research.
  11. References
    • Prepared in APA 6th edition style.
